Individual Therapy
Individual therapy services for children, adolescents, and young adults focus on providing personalized support to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. These services aim to foster resilience, build self-esteem, and enhance coping skills through evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. Therapy sessions are tailored to the unique needs of each individual, helping them navigate life transitions, manage stress, and develop healthy relationships. The goal is to empower clients to achieve personal growth and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
Group Therapy
Group therapy services for children, adolescents, and young adults provide a collaborative and dynamic environment where participants can enhance their social interaction, build effective problem-solving skills, and engage in experiential therapy. These sessions are designed to promote peer connection, foster communication, and encourage the sharing of experiences in a supportive group setting. Utilizing hands-on activities, role-playing, and real-world scenarios, experiential therapy helps participants practice and apply new skills in a meaningful way. The group format allows individuals to learn from one another, develop empathy, and navigate challenges with guidance from skilled therapists. The ultimate goal is to empower young individuals to grow emotionally, socially, and behaviorally, while building confidence and a strong sense of community.
Family Counseling
Family counseling services are designed to strengthen the parent-child relationship and create a harmonious home environment by addressing problematic behaviors and improving family dynamics. These sessions focus on fostering open communication, building mutual respect, and enhancing understanding between family members. Through evidence-based approaches, counselors guide families in identifying triggers for behavioral challenges and developing effective strategies to manage them. Parents are supported in adopting positive parenting techniques, while children and adolescents learn healthy ways to express their emotions and needs. The ultimate goal is to nurture a supportive and cohesive family unit where each member feels valued and heard.
School Support
Our School Support services are dedicated to empowering parents as they navigate the complexities of school systems, especially when their children are facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges in the classroom. We provide guidance and advocacy to help families understand and access resources, ensuring their child's needs are met effectively. With expertise in navigating Section 504 and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes, our team works collaboratively with parents and schools to develop tailored support plans that promote academic and personal success. From understanding rights and accommodations to fostering productive communication with school staff, we equip parents with the tools and confidence to advocate for their children and create a supportive educational environment.
Psychological Assessments
Our Psychological Assessment services provide comprehensive evaluations tailored to identify and understand ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and significant mental health concerns. Through in-depth clinical interviews, standardized testing, and behavioral observations, we gather a holistic understanding of each individual's unique strengths and challenges. These assessments offer valuable insights to inform accurate diagnoses and develop personalized recommendations for treatment, academic accommodations, and support strategies. Our goal is to empower individuals and families with clarity, guidance, and the tools needed to promote well-being and success across all areas of life.
PSYPACT
The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) is an agreement that allows licensed psychologists to provide services across state lines legally and ethically.
Telepsychology: Psychologists can offer remote services to clients in other PSYPACT-participating states. To do this, they must obtain the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT), which requires an E.Passport Certificate from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB).
PSYPACT aims to reduce regulatory barriers, increase access to mental health care, and ensure that psychologists meet defined standards and competencies when practicing in other states. You can find more details on the official PSYPACT website.
